PORTFOLIO COMPANY APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Accelerator portfolio firms are scalable, SEDI-owned business enterprises with high-growth potential. Qualifications for inclusion include, but are not limited to the following:

No minimum revenue requirement.
02.
Business plan or defined growth strategy that indicates strong potential for accelerated growth in 2-5 years.
03.
Doing or intending to do business in the State of Nevada.
04.
Desire to receive guidance and training to scale the business.
05.
Business model includes participation in industries aligned with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Industries would have a close nexus to infrastructure; construction; power infrastructure; climate related technologies or services; transportation; high-speed internet access; drinking and wastewater; water storage, efficiency and recycling; food security; affordable housing and ancillary services that serve these industries.
EXPECTATIONS OF PORTFOLIO COMPANIES
The Accelerator provides accepted companies with business development services. Our goal is to help business owners achieve their highest potential. To make the greatest impact, portfolio companies and business owners should understand some of the expectations:
The business owner will work closely with the Accelerator to develop a business strategy that defines where your business will play and how it will successfully execute its strategy.
The business owner has a willingness to confidentially share financials, strategy, processes, and other key company data.
The business must strategically align with the Accelerator’s four-year goal of creating an additional 1,000 new jobs and $50 million in aggregate annual sales among our portfolio companies.
AS A PORTFOLIO COMPANY
REQUIREMENTS
Once you are a portfolio company, you will be assigned an advisor that will support you with any and all of your growth needs, which might include:
Capital Sourcing: Due-Diligence Support, Bank/Traditional and Non-Traditional Fundraising/ Networking Support, Technical Fundraising Prep, and Ongoing Coaching
Operational Support: Strategic Growth, Acquisition Comprehensive Analysis, Accounting, Financial Statement Reporting, Website Design, Social Media Management.
Strategic Partnership: Corporations/Foundation Networking, Customer Identification, Supplier Related Opportunities, Corporate and Government Procurement Opportunities

The Nevada Capital Readiness Program is an economic development initiative borne from the joint efforts of the member organizations of the Silver State Nevada Capital Readiness Consortium.
