The RTC RiSE program certifies small and diverse businesses, including those owned by minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and persons with disabilities. This certification serves as a recognition of the diversity within the business community and encourages the inclusion of underrepresented groups in contracting opportunities.
The Diversity Certified program supports eligible small, minority-owned businesses impacted by COVID-19 in their pathway to become certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) or Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). The program covers the costs of technical application assistance and certification and is supported by a grant from the City of Las Vegas. The Diversity Certified program is open until June 2024 or until all allotted spots have been filled.
The Nevada Capital Readiness Program is an economic development initiative borne from the joint efforts of the member organizations of the Silver State Nevada Capital Readiness Consortium. Our mission is to increase economic inclusion and empowerment in the Nevada region by providing customized analysis, resources, and funding to accelerate the growth of scalable socially and economically disadvantaged (SEDI)-owned businesses. Our focus is on serving scalable, underserved SEDI-owned businesses in partnership with targeted regional and national stakeholders aligned around the shared mission of accelerating business development.
