Virtual Session – March 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM

The How to Start a Business workshop is a practical, entrepreneur‑focused session designed to help new and aspiring business owners take their first steps with confidence. Led by the Nevada Capital Readiness Program, this virtual training walks participants through the process of launching a business in Nevada—breaking down the essentials in clear, actionable terms.

Participants will learn how to register a business, understand Nevada’s permits and compliance requirements, and build a strong operational foundation. The session also introduces key statewide partners, including the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and SCORE, which offer one‑on‑one advising, mentoring, and additional support along the entrepreneurial journey.

This virtual workshop is presented at the request of the CSN Women in Business Student Club and is open to anyone interested in starting a business. Whether you’re refining an existing idea or exploring entrepreneurship for the first time, this session will equip you with the knowledge and tools to move forward with confidence.
