Event (in Spanish) to provide Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs in Northern Nevada with the connections and resources necessary to secure affordable small business capital. Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs and small business owners/borrowers will learn about the different lending programs, products, and resources from traditional banks, affordable alternative lenders (CDFIs), and credit technical assistance providers. More importantly, borrowers will be able to meet with lenders one on one during the structured “speed networking” session to discuss their credit needs and start loan application.
The Nevada Capital Readiness Program is an economic development initiative borne from the joint efforts of the member organizations of the Silver State Nevada Capital Readiness Consortium. Our mission is to increase economic inclusion and empowerment in the Nevada region by providing customized analysis, resources, and funding to accelerate the growth of scalable socially and economically disadvantaged (SEDI)-owned businesses. Our focus is on serving scalable, underserved SEDI-owned businesses in partnership with targeted regional and national stakeholders aligned around the shared mission of accelerating business development.
