Within the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED)\, State of Nevada\, the Nevada APEX Accelerator [former Nevada Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)] provides free government-related procurement technical assistance to established Nevada for-profit businesses. The said name change was effective as of December 2022 based on the program being elevated from the Defense Logistics Agency to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment/U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs at the Pentagon. A variety of webpages and e-materials and so on\, will be changed to show the modified name over time. Aside from webinars\, the Nevada APEX Accelerator provides other no-charge service offerings to its official clients who have been accepted into the program after completing a Client Questionnaire Form for consideration. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the CSN Blackstone LaunchPad Entrepreneurship Center official ribbon-cutting ceremony and NV Grow Small Business Expo. \nAbout this Event \nTaking place at CSN’s fabulous North Las Vegas campus\, the festivities will include light hors d’oeuvres and an NV Grow Small Business Expo spotlighting local business owners and student entrepreneurs that are part of the CSN Small Business & Entrepreneurship Development network. There will also be a special $3 Million MBDA Capital Readiness Program announcement made during this event.  \nABOUT CSN BLACKSTONE LAUNCHPAD \nThe CSN LaunchPad group fosters a culture of innovative entrepreneurship within the Las Vegas community by developing events and programs that help a diverse student population acquire the expertise necessary to create and sustain a successful business. \nRIBBON CUTTING  \nThe official ribbon cutting will take place outside of the new CSN Blackstone Entrepreneurship Center on September 5\, 2023. Our new center will deliver resources\, workshops\, and innovative working space to our students and local entrepreneurs. In partnership with the Blackstone Foundation\, CSN will provide high-quality programming\, business services\, acumen\, and connections that bridge the gap between the classroom and running a successful business. \nNV GROW SMALL BUSINESS EXPO \n\nThe NV Grow Small Business Expo will provide diverse networking & educational resources for local business owners and student entrepreneurs.\nJoin us as companies showcase their products\, provide demonstrations with informational handouts\, and offer free samples.\nMix and mingle with public officials\, student entrepreneurs\, and business professionals that are serious about growing their network.\nDevelop professional relationships in a professional environment.
